Objective: Passing and Receiving in a 1-2-3-2-1 formation. Looking at good attacking options to get forward from the middle third to the attacking 3rd.

Organization
Cone repersent formation of 1-2-3-2-1.
Progressions
A - First instict is to check shoulder can they go to goal. In this incident coach will stand behind player or move.
B - 2nd is to connect with 10 and they go to goal.
C - 8 to 9 to 10 to 7 to cross
D - 8 to 9 to 10 to switch to 11 to cross

As previous but now we add 4 defenders to a 6v4 scrimmage. No set pattern after the ball goes from the 8 to the 9.

Organization
As previous but now we add 1 more defender to a 6v5 scrimmage. To a regular functional practice. The ball starts with 8 but then can go anywhere. Regular rules throw in corners etc.

Set up
Field 40 X 30 with regular goals as shown.
Organization
Teams will play 6 v 6 including Goalkeepers. Regular scrimmage game with emphasis on passing, receiving and combinations going forward. Allow game to be free play but encourage running with the ball with all previous coaching points being enforced.
Coaching Points
All of points portrayed throughout the session should be enforced in a game situation. Open up grid to allow more space to dribble if necessary.
