See the guidance at the top of this page to understand why you are not seeing interactive Football/Soccer images.
Organization: 4 v 4 with goalkeeper. Two pug nets break between three areas created in zone 4.
Instructions:
Red team has 12 seconds to score from a pass randomly played up from the coach. Red team must start in the positions depicted above, but then is free to enter any of the areas to overload if they wish. Blue players are stuck in the zones they start in. If the ball goes out or is scored, ball restarts with the coach. Blue can score on the pug nets if they gain possession. Halfway through switch roles between Red and Blue.
Coaching Points: 1. Red should try to use intentional overloads to score on the Blue team. 2. Red should look to take the first available shot 3. Remind players that they do not need to see the net for a shot, only the ball does. 4. Off the ball attackers should be looking to get into unguarded space or look for a rebound.
Progression: Can adjust Blue numbers to make this exercise easier or harder depending on how easy the players find it.

Organization: Two fields 20 by 30 yards with a 2 v 2 plus 1 support player. Two pug nets at the ends. Extra balls around the perimeter.
Instructions: Game starts with one team in possession and neutral support player supports the team in possession. Both teams look to score any time using their numerical advantage.
Coaching Points: 1. Reinforce that players should look to use the space and numerical advantage to score. 2. Players should seek to force the defenders to make a choice between the ball or the open player and then take advantage of the choice. 3. If the defenders hesitate, the players should seek to score.
Progression: Blue player will be introduced into the outside channel with the same limitation of not being able to leave this channel.

Organization: 5 v 5 with two goalkeepers. [OR Other net has small net inside large net (goals only between the nets)]
Instruction: The players will be permitted to play a game with CMSA rules for U11 with our expected practice numbers.
Coaching Points 1. Reinforce use of open penetrating options on the attack. 2. Reinforce use of movement and players off the ball to create space in the attack.
Cooldown & Session Debrief: Review main points of the session with the players during post game stretch looking for the following: speed in our approach to dribbling past players, effective use of space as a team off the ball, passing to the open player to maintain possession

Warmup: Reception 1 v 1 (10 mins)
Organization: Two games of 1 v 1 with a single pug net at the end and a tight defensive zone subdivided by cones as depicted.
Instructions:
Red begins play with ball being passed to them in their own zone and have to break through the Blue defender. Blue defender cannot leave the shaded zone on the field. Blue begins on the outside and must run in to touch the line between both cones before facing the attacking player. Red players cannot shoot until they break through the defender line. Blues and Reds switch halfway through the drill.
Coaching Points: 1. Red receivers must call for where they want the ball. 2. Red players must have their hips open to the ball and their anticipated direction of travel 3. Red must use their first touch to set themselves up to deceive the defender with their 1 v 1 skills.
