Focus: To coach a team and/or a set of players to transition quickly.
Session Objectives:
Passing and Receiving with movements
Decision making when and when not to press the ball
Communication throughout the sessions
Speed and changes of intensity
Coaching Points:
Set up - defensive shape
Break up - regain ball quickly and effectively
Split up - create space wide/long into key channels for the penetrating pass/dribble/RWB
Play up - provide the killer pass into those key channels to be progressive and expansive
Move up - players moving into supporting positions exploiting key space or channels
Close up - other players not involved make the pitch compact and are aware of being secure at the back - no gaps/spaces for other team to transition and then go for the counter attack themselves
Finish up - quality of finishing skills - ABC's

Organisation:
4 White players start with the ball in the inner area, with 1 black player defending 1v4.
If the black player regains the ball, the player plays into any of the team whom are in black.
Whites keep the ball for as long as possible.
Blacks can have a go in the middle.

Organisation:
Coach plays the ball into white team. The white team tries to enter the red scoring zone to attack the big goal with 1 black defender trying to defend 1v3. Upon receiving the ball from the coach and when the white player has a touch the 2 blacks can recover and try to defend then start an attack of their own.
Practice repeats 3 times then swap. Roles for all.

Organisation:
Whites try to play out.
Blacks look to counter attack from central areas to score.
In this instance the white player misplaces a pass into a white CM player. The black CM player reads the body language of the player who is about to pass it, moves in front of the white player to start an effective counter attack.

Organisation:
Blacks are defending deep and being compact.
White CM player tries to break down blacks by trying a penetrative pass through to the CF, the CM who is playing deep reads this ball and tries to pass the ball into open key channels down the sides to exploit space into the oppositions half.
A goal is awarded if players can receive the ball into the shaded area on pitch shown.

Organisation:
Players are set up 4v5 in one half of the pitch and leaving a striker at the top of the pitch as a target man to play into when ball is successfully is regained and played out.
All players move across to the other half of the pitch and the white team leave a target man in the other half as play continuously ebbs and flows.
Practice is continuous and can be given a time period.
