Cones are different colours - representing players 

Colour of a cone is called out and closest player must run to that cone whilst keeping defensive shape as a 4 or 3 

- Ensure players understand who is in the best position to press/cover? - Allow players to jump into different positions

Defensive shape / Press and Cover 

Goal: Attackers on the outside must make a pass across defensive line - Looking for switches/simple passes 

Start with multiple passes across the line to demonstrate press/cover - then play switches 

Defensive line - closest player to the attacker presses whilst others cover - What does this look like in a 3v2?
