Warm Up (10 mins)

Objective:  Warm up with stationary stretching and dynamic stretching.  Followed by individual skills.

Instructions:  Stretch 10 minutes.  Individual skills 15 minutes (bells, toe touches, feints, pull backs, step overs, scissors.

Tag Game (15 mins)

Objective:  Emphasize feints, change of direction and acceleration with no ball.  

Instructions:  Attacking player tries to run through gate without being tagged.  Defensive player tries to tag attacking player.  

Time:  15 minutes.  Switch lines.

Progression:  Include ball.  Add an extra attacker to make it 2v1. 10 minutes.

Emphasis:  Exaggerate feints.  Use change of direction and change of speed to beat an opponent.

1v1s (20 mins)

Objective:  To score by dribbling through the gate using "moves".

Instructions:  Def player passes to attacking player.  Attacking player uses moves to attack either goal and gets a point by dribbling through the gates.   If def player wins the ball, they become the attacking player.  Add an extra attacker to make it 2v1.

Time: 20 minutes.  Can use pug goals also.

Small Sided Games (20 mins)

Play some fun games before the small sided games.  10 minutes.  Small sided 5v5, 4v4 plus 2.  30 minutes.  Juggling demonstration.  Teach how to juggle 10 minutes.  Clean up and bring your team into main group.
