Primary Focus - Breaking lines , Playing Through, around and over
Organisation - 12 players split into 2 teams
Pitch extended for increased realism with standard goals, pitch with 2 central zones, 2 players from each team fixed into the middle zones to begin.
Red team plays the ball through the lines to the 2 reds in the middle zone who combine wit red attacker to score. ball can be played across the pitch within the specific zones to create opportunities to play through or around, if yellows win the ball they are now attacking an the cycle continues.
initially players to play as described if breaking the lines is happening then revert to no conditions/free play to observe if breaking the lines still occurs without the zones
Adaptations (Progressions & Regressions):
Middle zone payers can move freely into any of the middle zones to be available for opportunities for passes that break the line.
Challenges, Conditions or Targets:
Progression - 10 seconds to play from defensive zone into the middle zone
2 touch in middle zone or score within 3 passes.
Regression - Middle zone players to be more passive in defence allowing opportunities for breaking the lines
