Variable - 15 minutes.
Cones are 15 meters apart, 30 meters from 1 end to the other, with a 3x3 flat discs area to allow the movement of the "attacking" player in the middle.
- In the same groups as the first drill.
- Again, with 2 players standing at the starting cone.
- 2 players standing at the middle cone, with 1 player standing at the far cone.
- 1 of the 2 players standing at the middle cone becomes a defending player. (rotates after every pass).
- The player in the middle who is not the defending player must try to use the movement to lose the player and recieve the ball at one of the flat discs. (At the start the defending player does NOT tackle).
- After the player has recieved the ball in the middle they must turn and pass to the player standing at the far cone.
- Players rotate after the phase is completed.
- The attacking player in the middle, goes to the far cone, the defending player in the middle becomes the attacking player, the player who passes the ball to start the play goes into the middle to come a defender.
Progressions;
- Defending players iatthe middle cone, can now tackle the attacking player.

- 6 cones

SSG/ Game - 5v5. 15 Minutes.
3 Zone, teams can decide how many players are in each zone. NO GOALKEPPERS.
- Players must stay in their zone, unless they are making movement to receive the ball.
- players can only switch zones if they creating space for themselves to recieve the ball.
- If a player switches zones, they do not have to return to their orignal zone as long as another player replaces them. (Players cannot switch zones with their team mate unless they are trying to get the ball).
Progression;
- If the players are playing with the movement between zones well, remove the zone condition to see if they still do it.
Blocked (10 mins)
Blocked - 10 minutes.
In two groups of 5, each team have a diamond like area.
Passing Distance - 15 meter pass. (cones places 15 meters away from each other). With each flat disc being 2 meters behind the cone and 2 meter apart from each other.
- Each player stands on cone, with 2 players standing on the cone where to ball is at the start.
- The player that starts with the ball has another play behind them wihout a ball, this is to ensure that once the pass has been made and followed there will still be 1 players for the 4 cones.
- Before recieving the ball, the player must make movement before the ball reaches them. There are 2 flat discs behind each cone, this is a guidance for the players to make movement around prior to recieving the ball.
- Players can either, simply back out the flat disc before recieving the ball, or they can back out to one and bounce off to the other creating more movement.
- After the player has made their movement and recieved the pass, the player must then pass the ball to the next player.
- After making a pass, the player must follow the ball onto the next cone and repeat.
It is important to perform the movement fast and with pace as in a game situation this will be done to lose a defender.
