Objective: Orientation Activity
Organization: 6 v 3 + GK
Area: Between the lines of the PK area and Halfway line. 10 by width box in the middle
Box 1 - 3 v 1 - Must make 3 passes before moving forward into box 2. Once bal goes in 1 white player can move forward into box to make another 3 v 1.
Box 2. No Pass limit. Must try to move ball forward into box 3 by either a dribble or a pass.
Box 3. 2 White players can move forward to make another 3 v 1. White must get to goal and try to score.
If Blue wins ball play as fast as possible to central Pugg Goal (can play direct)
Key words. Penetration, body shape, confidence to goal.
Coaching points: Recieve ball with open body shape, Combination play to get to goal. Dynamic movement to confuse defenders.
Players involved for white: 2,3,4,6,8,9
Progressions: Add in extra defenders into boxes 1 and 3, Take away first line to make 5 v 3

Objective: Learning Phase
Organization: 6 v 5 + 1
Area: Half field/ 3/4 field dependant on numbers
Key Words: Running beyond, longest conectable pass, combinations with the 9
Coaching Points: play longest pass where possible - doesnt mean a kick and chase ball (longest connectable could be a 5 yard pass)
When hitting the 9 with thier back to goal - 6 and 8 are expected to support underneath and beyond - KEY QUESTION which player goes beyond and which one comes underneath.
Players for White 2,3,4,6,8,9
Progressions: Add both groups together, and play 8 v 7 + Gk in 3/4 of field.
Play 2/3 5 minute games. Goals scored from central areas worth 2 - goals scored from crosses worth 1 (completely up to coaches if they want to use this method - doesnt work with all groups)

Play 9 v 9 for final game.
1 coach to work with blue group, 1 group to work with white group.
Assess players as time goes on, rank players 1 - State/regional level. 2. Pool Level. 3. Needs more work.

Objective: Warm up and Technical Repetition

Organization: 3 x groups of 8.
A plays centrally to B.
B recieves on the back foot and plays to C
C recieves on back foot and plays longer to D
Players follow pass and do dynamic stretches on movement.
Key Phrase - Forward, set slide (also known as up back through)
Coaching Points:
Firm Weight of pass
Leading pass to help player recieving to go to next destination in limited touches
Check shoulder before ball is controlled
Progression:
Players must now complete 2 minutes of activity without making more than 10 mistakes.
Mistakes are - not recieving ball on correct foot - ball being mis controlled - no commmunication on pass - balls catching up with each other.
Once 2 mins is complete, move on.
