Leading Activity (15 mins)

Initial Pattern

Player 1 passes to player 2;

Player 2 passes to player 3;

Player 1 receives from player 3 by overlapping player 2;

Player 4 moves the ball to the other side to player 3 overlapping player 3.

When player 2 passes the ball to player 3 they interchange positions;

Progression 1

The third & fourth man is now involved;

The same pattern as before but now player 3 passes the ball to player 5;

Player 5 plays a through ball to player 1 on the overlapping;

Progression 2

Players 1 & 2 do a combination;

When player 1 receives the ball back, the ball is played to player 4;

Player 4 plays to player 3;

Player 3 plays to player 1 on the overlapping;
