Set up:
30x20 or 35x25.3 teams of 5- Rotate the Neutral team every 2-3minutes
Instructions
- Inside teams transition attack and defence on turnovers
- Goals scored by playing end to end -
Progression: Play to 5 goals (Competition)
Coaching Points:
- Attack: Spacing in possession (Dont crowd the ball)."Look Far" with passing (Depth, pass first and assess other options after). Speed of play and rhythm of ball movement.
- Defence: Step forward and pressure passes inside thearea. Correct attitude in
defending(Aggressive, Press, Intercept, Tackle)

A) Mini Shuttle Run
Set Up:
20 by 20
Instructions:
-First person in each line sprints to the middle cone, then back pedals to first cone. Then full sprint to last cone and back pedals to start cone to tag the next person in line. (3 times each)
-Full sprint to middle cone, then sprint to first cone, then to the last cone and then full sprint back to tag the next in line. (3 times each)
Progression:
-With a soccer ball, dribble forward to middle cone, then backward pull backs to first cone. Then dribbel to the last cone and pull backs to the first cone,
-Dribble the ball to the middle cone, the turn with it to the first cone. Then dribble the ball to the last cone, turn and drbble it back to the next in line.
Coaching Points:
-As qucik as you can.
-Keeping the ball close to your body.
B) Box Drill
Set Up:
-5 cones 5 m apart from the middle cone.
Instructions:
-Starting from the middle cone, run to one of the outside cones as your friend calls out random numbers. Once you touch that cone, run as quickly as you can back to the middle cone.
