Place 4 cones in a 1 yard square, 1 player stays in the square and 1 player approx. 5 yards away.
The ball is played into the player in the square who controls the ball with 1 touch and plays a pass back, on receiving the ball, the (control) touch and pass should be played with the ball remaining inside the 1 yard square.

Place 8 cones in an octagon shape measuring 5 yards diameter. A server stands 5 - 10 yards away.
The server plays a pass into the player in the octagon, after receiving the pass the player controls the ball through each pair of cones that form the sides of the octagon to play a pass back to the server from outside of the octagon.
When controlling the back through the back of the octagon, the player controls the ball and moves with the ball to the outside of the octagon and then back inside the octagon to play the return pass.
All passes from the server are played through the yellow cones (in practice all cones should be the same colour).
The first return pass from the player (inside the octagon) is through the yellow cones, the drill animation does not show this.

Place 3 cones in a line 12 inches apart, 2 servers stand 3 - 5 yards away from the line of cones, approximately on line with the end cone(s).
The player performs step overs using the cones, when at the end of the line cones the server plays a pass and the player makes a return (1 touch) pass back to the server.
The step overs can be varied as directed by the coach, the pass back to the server can also be varied, i.e. ground pass, header, in the air pass, chest control then pass etc.

With 4 players to each square, there are 2 servers and 2 players per square.
Players operate within the square and do not move to another square.
Drill
A server plays a pass into one of the players in the square, the player lays a pass off to the other player in the square who then plays a pass to the server in the next (anti-clockwise) square. The player who played the pass leaves the square and swaps with the server who started the drill.
Progression 1
A server plays a pass into one of the players in the square, the players in the square play a 1-2 combination followed by a pass to the server in the next (anti-clockwise square). The player who played the pass leaves the square and swaps with the server who started the drill.
Progression 2
A server plays a pass into one of the players in the square, the players in the square who plays a pass back to the server, the server plays a pass to the second player in the square, who then lays a pass to the first player, who then plays a pass to the server in the next (anti-clockwise square). The player who played the pass leaves the square and swaps with the server who started the drill.

The pitch is split into 3 sections, 2 attacking zones measuring 35 yds x 20 yds (marked with yellow cones) and a central neutral zone measuring 35 yds x 5 yds (marker with red cones).
The wide players and the players behind the goal line are to remain in these zones and outside the area of play.
The drill starts with a ball from a keeper into one of the forwards, the forward receives the ball unopposed in the the central neutral zone. Working with the players who are wide and behind the goal, the forwards are to use pass & move combinations to penetrate the defence and score.
If the defending team win the ball, they become the attacking team, this means that the forwards and wide forward players of the team who have just gained possession, need to remain alert and transition into an attacking formation, also the defenders of the team who have just lost possession remain alert to take up a defensive formation quickly.
If the attacking team score, the drill re-starts with their goalkeeper. If the defending team intercept the ball and clear it out of play, the drill re-starts with the attacking team's keeper (this is to encourage the defending team to win & maintain possession.
