1v1 Wave Game
The Red attacker dribbles out with the ball into a 1v1 situation against a blue defender. The Red attacker looks to beat the defender 1v1 before finishing into the mini goal. After that phase of play ends a new blue attacker comes in to play against the red player in a 1v1 going in the opposite direction to the other mini goal. Make the game competitive by setting teams a target to reach i.e. first team to 8.

One of the blue defenders passes the ball into the red attackers before coming out to press and defend. The Red attacker looks to beat the defender in a 1v1 before finishing past the goalkeeper in the big goal. If the defender wins possession they look to counter attack into the mini goals to score. Passes come in from either side so the attackers gain experience of defenders pressing from both sides of their body. Rotate teams after 4-5mins. The teams with the most points at the end of the 2 rounds win Attackers get 1 point for a goal, defenders get 2 points if they win it and score in the mini goals.

SSG - 1v1 in wide channel
3v3 in the middle zone with 2 goalkeepers, 1v1 in the wide channels. Players who are in the wide channels must stay in that zone and play 1v1 against the other teams player. Teams can score in the larger middle goals in the central area or the mini goals in the wide channels. Goals in the mini goals count for 2 and the big goals count as 1. Normal game rules other than the zone restrictions to start.
