Description

The purpose of this session is to teach my group the capability to recognize that when we have possession of the ball , we have the advantage to switch play and also create numerical advantage around the ball and on the flanks(overloads), In doing so I expect the players to improve their technical, physical, and mental skills to know WHEN, WHERE, HOW AND WHY, they re going to achieve the above.

At this session I will have a beginning, and a middle, furthermore an end taking the players from level to level and ensuring that each level there is a clear understanding of their roles within the session.

In setting out these guidelines I am also looking to develop the mindset in different situations, such as:

  • Win the ball (counter-pressing)
  • Without the ball (Principles in defending)
  • Being positive during transition
  • reaction after loosing the ball
