Win the First Ball (5 mins)
Improve Reaction to Win Ball - This could be performed in several ways, but the basic idea is...
Two teams compete to win first ball and score a point (shot on goal, dribble across a line, pass to a teammate, etc.).
Players come to middle cones (approx. 2 yards a part), and coach/player drops ball between them. Play is live as soon as the ball is dropped.
Progressions...
Players must attack assigned goal (note they are off center to force a 1v1).
Players work in multiple groups of 3, scattered around pitch, and rotate through turns as competitors or drop-ball feeders (this will reduce lines and boredom).
