Warm Up (20 mins)
This crossing warm up is designed to practise a possible combination that could occur in a match. The first player at A makes a pass inside to a central player to recieve the ball played in front of him to run onto and make a cross into the area for the keeper to collect the ball. The outfield player continues his run behind the goal to recieve the ball back from the keeper and drives froward with the ball to the marker (B). Here the player makes a change of direction move and dribbles to the centre cone (C) and passes the ball up to the next player at the start. On passing the ball they now make a run to the central cone (D) to lay off for the next player. On doing this, they return back to the start.
Progression:
1. The exercise is repeated the opposite side to work the left foot.
2. The ball is now cut back to the central player to have a shot at goal
