This drill is the same concept as the first one, but this time we have two neutral players on the outside; one on one side and one on the other side. Both teams can utilize the neutral player whenever the have possession. The focus is to use the neutral players to create wall passes or through balls to keep possession. Every time a team gets the ball to the neutral player without getting the ball taken away, they receive a point.
Coaching Points: Players should be moving quickly and staying alert of their surroundings. The neutral players can move left or right as much as they want as long as they stay in between the cones.

Again, this is the same concept, but this time we have our goalkeepers and an incentive to score. There are mini goals set out and the goalkeepers can only use their feet to block a shot. This time it is 6v6.
Coaching Points: Players should continue working on maintaining possession now with being able to score. Keepers are expected to play from the back as that is what they would be working on while the other players completed the drills previously.

This small-sided games focuses on keeping possession for 4 passes before passing the ball off. Each team needs to complete 4 passes before passing it through the middle to the other team. There are 2 defenders at all times and once one team completes those 4 passes, 2 new defenders come in. If the defending team gains possession of the ball, they switch with the team that lost the ball.
Coaching Points: Coaches can make player changes as they see fit. This drill can help coaches watch each player in a small given area and see what ball handling skills the possess as well as defensive skills. Players should stay within the boundary and open wide to make defending harder.

Nondirectional Drill (15 mins)
There will be 2 groups of 8 players. Those 2 groups will split into two teams, meaning 4v4. The focus of this drill is possession and pressing while on defense. Players need to work together to keep possession and defend as necessary. To progress, teams can count how many passes they can complete before losing possession to the opposing team. After 7 minutes, whoever had the longest passing streak between the two groups will do the drill against each other for the remainder of time. While these players work on this drill, the goalies are doing keeper specific warm ups.Coaching Points: Players should be taking advantage of the entire space given. Players should be looking up before passing the ball, continuously moving to get open, and create spaces for passes.
