Player rotation- Player starting with ball rotates to striker, striker rotates to winger, winger shoots on goal and retrieves ball.
Instructions: Player with ball plays double pass with striker who checks away and then toward to receive. Off of the entry pass, winger moves away toward the touchline and then toward the cone to receive. Wide player takes touch inside toward goal and strikes on goal. Next group goes off of the pass to go wide.
Coaching Points: (coach in the flow with individual references)
Movement off the striker.
Movement of the winger.
Quality of passes.
Quality of shots.
Quality of cross.
Striker holding their run.
Progressions:
1st progression as shown.
2nd progression winger takes touch torward end line and striker holds their run to get on the end of a late cutback cross.

Organization: half of the field. One orange cone each side in line with 18 yard box to mark early cross. One orange cone in line with 6 yard box to mark late cross. 4 even lines of players. 1 GK. Middle lines even with top of circle and goal posts. Outside lines between width of 18 and sideline, 5 yards closer to goal than middle lines.
Instructions: One player from each line join the play. Players in middle lines pass back and forth a couple of times and release outside player with a pass wide. 3 runners in the box and try and finish. Early cross near first orange cone, late cross near second orange cone.
Coaching Points:
1. Quality of service.
2. Recognition to play ball wide.
3. Wide player decide based on observing vertical compactness of defense whether:
A. Early cross. Defense not compact vertically in relation to goal.
B. Late cross. Defense compact and no space to play in behind.
4. Timing of runs. Cue- hold run when crossing player picks head up until crossing player's head goes down- run.
Progressions:
1. Unopposed.
2. Opposed. Add 1 defender. Switch every full line rotation.
3. Opposed. 2 defenders. Switch every full line rotation.

Organization: 30x40 yd area in middle. 18 yard box out. 2 attacking flank players for red. 4 red in middle attackers vs. 4 blue defenders. 1 yellow neutral. Adjust teams based on numbers. Can add blue players in flanks to play out to for blue instead of playing to coach. Orange cone 1 early cross. Orange cone 2. Late cross
Instructions: Red tries to pass to flank player. No defending the flank player. Flank player dribbles down the line with speed, big touch to break the gate (tall orange cones) gets head up on prep touch cross and delivers to runner at the penalty spot. Opposite flank makes a back post run. Finish.
Coaching Points:
1. Quality of service.

(1.) Play flank players, 1 inside player gets on the end of a cross and other flank player gets far post run. Finish. If defense wins inside of area, play out to coach. Ball restarts with coach.
(2). Pass to flank player and play is live. Blues can win it and go to mini goals. Reds score on big goal.

Organization: Field width of the 18 yard box extending to the bottom of the circle. 2 GK or can play to pug goals with no GK. 3 teams of 4 for a tournament. Balls at center field on sideline with coach. Add neutral player if uneven numbers.
Instructions: 3 minute games. Winner gets 3 points for their team. If game tied after 3 minutes the team on longest is off. Both teams get 1 point for their team. Rules of the game in place. Throw ins, goal kick, and corner kicks on out of bounds.
Coaching Points: Use natural stoppages and individual coaching points in the flow for feedback more to allow players opportunity to show they can make decisions in possession without coach telling them what to do. Look for moments where the stop-start is applicable.
(1). When we win it- what's option 1. How do we gauge speed/ direction of play?
(2). When we have it. Do we possess or do we look to penetrate? Are we calm?
(3). When we lose it. Urgency to win it back 1st defender.
(4). When we don't have it. How do we set ourselves up to win it back?

Organization:
-13 cones. 1 area setup cones staggered 3 yards side to side, front to back. 1 area setup cones in line with 1.5 feet spacing between cones.
Instructions:
- Go twice through each time. Switch lines after each run through.
Coaching Points:
- Running the knees and light on our feet not stomping down. Balance and control of body.
Progressions:
Cone line:
(1). 2 feet in each
(2). Weave through shuffling side to side.
(3). 2 forward, 1 back through end.
(4). Around each cone figure 8s through the end.
Staggered:
(1). Side to side shuffling.
(2). Hopping 2 feet 1 forward, 1 back to the side.
(3). Hopping with control 1 cone to the next side to side (slow).
(4). Side to side but run around each cone.
