Main Theme (20 mins)
Organization:
3 12x20 yard channels
Players set up as shown
Instructions:
- Play starts when attacking player (B) in the middle checks away from the passing player (A). Player A plays a short-short pass with Player B before playing long to Player (C).
- Player C now dribbles into the field and looks to attack Player A who enters the field as a defender (2v1)
- Player B will look to overlap Player C as they attack to try to stop the ball on the endline for a point.
Coaching Points:
- Player C look to dribble at the defender to get him to commit
- Player B timing of the overlap
- Visual cues to develop the play
- Player C dribbling with the correct foot
- Player C passing with the correct foot and surface
- Player C adding, disguising or performing moves to unbalance defender
Progressions:
1. Allow a wall pass. Cues when to wall, overlap and dribble.

Main Theme II (20 mins)
Organization:
10x30 yard area
3 roughly equal lines
Instructions:
- Player in Line A stands in front of coach with legs spread open and back is facing the goal.
- Coach plays a ball through the Player A's legs who turns and goes 1v1 with the goalie.
- After Player A shoots; Player B, plays a pass to Player C and Players B & C go 2v1 against Player A who has turned to face Players B & C.
- One shot has been taken, or ball clears the field, all players go back to the end of their same lines.
- Play for certain amount of time, and rotate as a group (A to B, B to C, C to A).
Coaching Points:
- Placement of shot for Player A
- Quick transition to defense for Player A
- Sharp and quick pass from Player B to Player C
- Creating space and movement from Players B & C (Overlap or Take-over Situation)
- Attacking at speed from Players B & C
- How quickly can Player B or C get a shot off (and accurately)

Conditioned Game (20 mins)
Organization:
Full Field
6v6 with GKs
Channels on the wide areas as shown
Instructions:
- Players play regular game
- As the ball gets wide, attacking player must come into the center of the field, and passer must look to overlap into the channel.
- Once in the channel and the pass is played back to the overlapping player, opposing defender cannot defend in the attacking half.
Coaching Points:
- Wide player look to dribble centrally to create width and attract defenders
- Timing of the overlap
- Visual cues to develop the play (first touch inside)
- Wide player dribbling with the correct foot
- Wide player passing with the correct foot and surface
- Wide player adding, disguising or performing moves to unbalance defender based on how the pressure is from the defender
Progressions:
- Opposing defender can now defend in the channels.
- Unconditioned game.

Set up:
2 cones set at 30 yards apart. Speed ladder and hurdles set out to each side.
Instructions:
1. Player A passes to layer B. Player B leaves the pass for C and moves out wide. Player C players wide to C who passes to the next players at A. Play continues the other way.
2. C works through the ladder before getting into the back of line A. Player A works through the hurdles before going to the back of area C.
