2011G ECNLR Training Session #1 08/07/23

This game is trying to simulate a real building out of the back scenario. Red team is trying to score in the two mini goals. There is a pink target between the two mini goals. That player acts like a ST/CAM when red is in possession and a CDM/CB when blue is in possession. Blue is trying to press and score in the big goal. Every time the ball goes out or a goal is scored the play resets from the GK. Blue team rotates every minute since they are numbers down.
Dimension: 55yd wide and 40-50yd long longer is harder (Longer not wider to enable breaking lines and work on vertical spacing)
3 - 4 min rounds:
*pressing team rotates every 1 minute
RD1: Normal
RD2: Red has to find the pink striker before being able to score
RD3: 3 passes first and find pink striker before being able to score

Last game is to hopefully put together all the different aspects in a game realistic atmosphere. Focus on specific building out moments for praise and coaching points. Work on Set Pieces TOO!
Dimensions: 7v7 field if half is unavailable otherwise use a half field with less width to enable vertical play centrally and breaking lines

6v3 + 1 Rondo (30 mins)
This rondo looks to find quick combination play to break lines of pressure and find players higher up the field. The goal is to connect a certain amount of passes and play the target in the opposite box. This would equal 1pt and everyone would transition into that new box to repeat. If the defending team wins the ball they can score in the big goals for 2 pts. Everytime ball is out of bounds or a goal is scored three new defenders come on the field and a new ball is played from coach.
Dimensions: 30x40 yd, if too difficult use 35x50 yd
6 - 3 min rounds:
* rotate defending team every round
RD 1/2: 6v2 and 5 passes
RD 3/4: 6v3 and 5 passes
RD 5/6: 6v3 and 5 passes + 3 touch max
