1. Players must try to switch play before scoring
(Switch playthrough midfield) = Player Challenge
Each team will score X1 goal per switch of play & will receive X5 goals per switch of playthrough midfield (Player Targets)
2. Limited touches - 2/3 touches (Player Challenge)

Coaching Notes
In Possession
1. When to create a switch of play when in attack and based on pressure of opposition
2. Use limited touches to switch play as quick as possible
3. Use depth, through midfielder dropping, to receive the ball and playthe ball to the channels to switch play before scoring (Player
Condition)
Out of Possession
1. Prevent switch of playthrough midfield - high press - close the midfielder down
2. Tight to the touchline to prevent crosses or balls forward from the channels, forcing the wingers to playthrough to midfield and
switch play(more success for the objectives of the session)
Progression 1:
Offside - Mannequins represent offside movement for the In Possession team. Player Target: To stay onside = dropping deep,
moving pink Out of Possession players into a deeper position, therefore allowing midfielder to switch play and break away quicker.

To create 5 successful switches of play = 5 bonus goals
To score a goal through switch of play = 2 goals
