Objective -
To use the correct blocking/foot save technique in a simulated scenario.
Description -
GK1 will move into a position to block the near range strike on goal from Coach. Players will rotate through continuously before progression 1 (see below)
Organization -

Coaching Points -
Micro movements with feet, balance, drop levels, body weight forwards, chest over the ball.
Progression -
Progression 1 - After first block save, GK turns in for a volley.
Progression 2 - GK1 will make the block save and have a 2nd action as GK2 drops the ball on the ground and they must dive at GK2's feet and
smother/block the ball.

Objective -
To increase the decision making when reacting to balls for 1v1 & Block saves.
Description -
GK1 will play the ball between the pop up goals to coach who will play a first time strike on either GK2 or GK3's goal. Once the save is made, GK4 and GK5 will alternate and deliver a low ball toward coach. Coach can either strike on GK2 or GK3 goal, or run over the ball for either GK4 or GK5 to run onto at the back post and strike on the pop up goals.

Progression -
Remove predictability of delivery from GK4 or GK5. They may decide the order of delivery and not have it pre-determined.

Objective -
To increase the decision making and introduce match scenarios when reacting to balls for 1v1 & Block saves.
Description -
Coach will start with the ball and play either GK2 or GK3, they will take a touch and play the ball wide to either GK4 or GK5. Wide GK's will take a touch and deliver low into the box as Coach, GK2, 3 and 4 flood the box. GK1 must react to delivery and attempt to get their body inline to complete a block save or cut out the initial cross.

Progression -
Coach may receive a ball back and turn to initiate a 1v1.
