Small Sided Game (15') 4v4
- SSG Variation
- 4v4 (w/ 4 off) SSG variation on half a quareter field indoors
- 2-3 minute games or first teams to socre stays on
- Team that stays on defends the big goal
- Team attacking the big net should always have an extra player, as the team defending the big goal must have a GK.
- Encourage players to take defenders on 1v1 with confidence

Technical/Tactical (20') 1v1
10-12 players, Split into 3-4 groups dependent on #'s
- GK plays the ball to defender 1 who Must sprint to the wide red cone and open up out wideand then play to A1
- When GK plays the ball to D1 A1 should be starting at Red cone and must check out to Yellow cone and then attack the ball and recieve.
- After A1 receives he goes 1v1 v D1 who comes out to defend.
- A1 has 7 seconds to get a shot off and score, If the defender gains posession, he can score on one of the two mini counter goals.
- After the sequence, A1 becomes GK, GK becomes defender, D1 goes to the back of the defending line.
- Keep Score. Teams switch every 5 minutes
Progression: A1 has 5 seconds to score.
Variation: You could have GK plays the ball wide to FB/Defender and they look to attack the mini goals. If the players wins the ball they now attack the big goal and the player now transitions defensively.
Coaching Points: - Attack the ball, First touch reception, Close control, Attacking the space, Move/Feint, Speed (full intensity), Change direction , Shooting/Finishing, Encourage creativity (have ideas, surprise), Individual Transitions,
