This is a component 2 drill for the UEFA A Licence. Focussing on Progressive Possession in a 4-3-3 formation.
The pitch is split up into 3 areas.
Condition - Once the ball is played forward into an advancing zone the team cannot play back a zone
Progression - Players in Middle zone have 2 touches. Forcing them to play forward quickly.

Option 1 - Central Midfield into No 10 drive forward, link up with striker or wide man.
Option 2 - Central Midfield into Striker. No 10 moves as ball travels to link with striker.
Option 3 - Full Back to Wide man. Wide man drives inside and links with striker. As the Wide Man drives inside the Full Back makes an overlapping run for the striker to play into his space.
Option 4 - Full Back to Striker. Lay off to Striker and switch ball out to the available space on the opposite side.

Component 1 (10 mins)
This is a Component 1 drill for the UEFA A Licence. This will focus on Progressive Possession in a 4-3-3 formation.
Ball will start from a defending player at the Halfway line.
Option 1 - Play the ball to one of the centre midfielders. No 10 looks to get on the half turn and drive forward, either linking with the striker or taking on a defender.
Option 2 - Play the bal to the centre midfielder. Looks to play in striker and misses out the No 10. As the ball travels the No 10 can move to receive a lay off from the striker and go and attack
Progression 1 - Add in 1 Wide Man and 1 Recovering Full Back
Progression 2 - Add in 1 Full Back and 1 Recovering Midfield Defender
