Defending as a team (20 mins)

Description

-  Area Size Is 30 Yards Long X 40 Yards Wide

- Blue looking to press as a team to win the ball back and then center forward (1 point) 

- Red looking to win the ball and score on a pug goal (1 point 

Progression

- removing the pugs add a keeper for Blue and turning it into a SSG to recreate the game form desired 


Regression

- Bringing the goals in to reduce space making it easier for the Blue team to press and win the ball back 


Coaching Points/Instruction

- Communicating

- Immediate reaction

- If someone stole your shoes you would run after them and get it back... and then if your friends where there you would hope that they would run after them with you and get it back.... exact same when your pressing to win the ball back .

- Hunt in a pack 

- When the balls won find the calm and retain possession
