Objective: ball mastery and physical warm-up.
Organization: Players inside a grid each with a ball.
Instructions: players dribble and listen for coaching commands.
Variations: (1) dribble, cap, jump & shout, (2) dribble, cap, squat near ball, (3) Opposites: if coach says down you jump and if coach says jump you go down, (4) dribble, cap, one foot on ball hands on hips good balance, (5) dribble, cap, sit on the ball with straight legs, (6) dribble, cap, sit on it no hands and no hands getting up, (7) no ball crawl through legs and piggy back ride.
Key Coaching Points:
1. Good close control
2. Stopping and starting.

Objective: To improve our reaction speed with and without the ball.
Organization: 20x20 grid. Two lines of players. 3 cones in front of each.
Instructions: No Ball: Players start in the middle doing fast feet. Coach calls color of cone and players race to cone.
Variations: (1) No Ball: fast feet coach calls cone color and players race to opposite cone. (2) No ball players do footwork exercises back and forth through cones then race to cone color called by coach. (3) With Ball: same as above but now the players race to ball and play 1v1. They must dribble through the gates.
Key Coaching Points:
1. Fast footwork
2. Fast reactions
3. Be aggressive going 1v1.

Objective: to improve combination play and finishing.
Organization: 2 teams of players one line on each side of the coach. 20x30 grid
Instructions: Coach passes the ball into the middle and yells out a number. That number of players enter the grid and play. Coach can keep adding players "add 2..." Coach keeps playing balls into the grid until a goal is scored OR the coach can tell everyone to "get out of there" and they all sprint back to the line.
Variations: NA

Objective: to activate the players mentally and physically in the Play Practice Play model of training.
Organization: set up two goals and an area that will accommodate the total amount of players you believe will be at training. Here it is 8 and the area is 30x40.
Instructions: As soon as 2 players have arrived at training start playing. As players arrive add the them into the game. It is free play.
