Organization:
2 Teams
2 midfielders from each team start in middle of field, 2 backs start at the cones as shown.
1 ball.
Instructions:
2 mids begin facing away from each other.
Coach plays ball into center, mids turn and try to win the ball.
Whichever team wins possession must play the ball back to either of their backs creating a 4v2 against opposition.
Team in possession must complete 3 passes in their half before they're allowed to go to attacking half.
Team in possession gets 1 point if they can dribble through the opposition's cones.
If team originally out of possession wins it, they can try to score right away or they can play back to their backs, creating a 4v4.
Coaching Points:
Base - quality of pass, receiving with head up.
P1 - movement with the ball to find/create passing lanes, movement without the ball to find/create passing lanes.
P2 - decision-making - when it's on to attack, when we should play support.
Progressions:
P1 - 1 point for dribbling in between cones, 3 points for passing to teammate into endzone.
P2 - Team that wins possession initially does not need to play back to backs, they can go straight to goal.

4v4 - free play with 3-touch restriction.
Teams with 4 players play 4v4, 2-minute games.
3v3 when team with 3 is on, the team with 4 will rotate a sub when the ball goes out 2x.

Introduction (15 mins)
Organization:
2 teams
1 ball per team.
Each team set up on opposite sides as shown.
2 players from ech team in the middle.
Instructions:
Outside player plays to either inside player who receives and plays to opposite end.
Everyone follows their pass.
Both teams go at the same time playing around each other.
Progressions:
P1 - Competition - every successful pass from one outside player to the other is a point. Play first to x or whoever has more points after x time.
P2 - Add a defender.
