Method: 2v2 Progressive Passes
Blues attack reds defend, reds must remain in the shaded space - blues must play through the zones to score.
Coaching Points:
Passing Tempo- Encourage fast combinations to take advantage of defender pressure.
Progressive Runs- Utilise available space behind defensive lines to penetrate the defense.
Body Orientation- Use correct body orientation to guide the players use of space to aide progressive runs.
Progression: Neutral player in the middle: The neutral player supports the attacking team to create an overload in the middle zone

Method: 4v3 Progressive Passes
Blues attack red defend. Blues must make 6/8 passes in their own zone before progressing to the attacking zone. Must be a through ball into the final zone, the passer of the through ball cannot enter.
Coaching Points:
Passing - Choice, weight, accuracy. Focus on through ball and the effect of playing on the astro and through balls
Movement - 8s and CF to remain high and preserve space, timing of runs to receive, movement from defenders blind spot.
Receiving - Correct body position to receive and either shield the ball or play forward.
Progressions
Allow a second defender to drop into the final zone, 2v2 scenario.
Allow a third attacker to join the final zone, leading to a 3v2 overload situation.
3rd man run to finish only.

Method: 5v4 Progressive Passing
Blues attack, reds defend, 5v4 or 5v3 in the defensive zone, blues must make 6/8 passes before they can enter the attacking zone.
Coaching Points:
Movement - Encourage the use of horrizontal/diagonal runs to disorientate the opposition defensive unit
Passing Quality - Focus on sharp decision-making and accurate passing.
Penetrating Pass - emphasis on the quality of the through ball, no hit and hope - must be a workable opportunity.
Final Zone Awareness - Ensure only three attackers enter the final zone; communicate effectively to avoid overcrowding.
Progressions:
Allow a third defender to drop into the final zone, creating a 3v3 scenario.
Permit a 4th attacker to join the final zone, leading to a 4v3 scenario.
3rd man runs only into the final zone to finish.

Method Attacking Unit Orientation:
An attacking orientation session for the 1433 game format - adding coaching points from small games where necessary.
Coaching Points:
7/11 - provide width, shoulders corner flag to corner flag, receive with positive first touch.
9 - provide depth, play from blind spot.
10 - high and drop in play from blind spot

Scanning and Receiving 3rd man
Method: Scanning and Receiving
Players are learning to pass and receive in the pocket with a 3rd man run to receive. The player being worked is the player who receives from based and plays the 1-2
Coaching Points:
Scanning - players should make 3 scans one for each of the passes he makes and one for the movement to receive the first pass.
Body Shape - open body shape to receive the 1st pass, and play the bounce pass, positive body shape to take your touch forward and create the space to play the pass to the opposite base cone.
Passing - Correct weight, accuracy, inside of surface of the foot to play the pass.
