Warm up -
Do the usual team warm up for 15 mins
Rondo -
Reds passing to each other without blue intercepting. If blue intercepts they swap out. Every two minutes the outer circle takes a step in. Lasts 6 mins
Obstacle course -
Players are passing in a circle amongst themselves when coach blows whistle players must all players must run through there obstacles front of them as quick as possible but to not miss anything out. After completion the players are not at the opposite side and passing i there groups again waiting for the coach to blow the whistle. This should Ideally take 2 mins for everyone to complete this each time.
Passing -
One player in front of each cone. The player with the ball passes to the left the player in front closes down (without getting the ball). Once passed to the left the player runs to the right. After a few minutes the passing switches to the right and player runs to the left then player decides what direction to go and the player in front has to adapt to which direction the ball is going. No tackling, closing down only. 2min each direction.
Mini game -
Coach splits team into team of 3,4,5. Playing mini games. If a goals is scored 1 point to the team. If goals is scored from a cross (outside the dashed line) then the team gets 3 points.
Match -
The match should always take up a decent amount of time in your training session. If there is something that a player does wrong shout FREEZE and point it out to them and don't lets the players move position when explaining to them. Then let them play on.
Cool down -
This should be a light jog half way across the pitch or the width of the pitch and back. This should be done after every training session and match.
