⚽Practice Organization

  • 4 stages and varieties
  • A specific training which stimulates and amplifies the repeated sprint ability of the players
  • The first 3 stages will be executed by the 3 groups of players and the last stage, 4th will be executed from all the players as 1 whole body of players   

⚽Key Coaching Points

  • 1) According to the image players execute 4 reps
  • Players initiate their run and with maximal sprint avoid the first mannequin. Thereafter and with a sharp movement they have to sprint fast near the second mannequin and evade with the fastest possible manner
  • 2) 4 reps must be executed on each side
  • Players have to avoid quickly the stick and thereafter to move with agile sidestep towards the second stick
  • Players have to move with backdoor move around the stick. After this part, players must sprint with maximal sprinting speed linearly till the cone(but not decelerating previously)
  • 3) 4 reps must be executed on each side
  • Players have to execute high knees skipping and by the termination of the ladder, every player has to step deeply outside the stick and then sprint maximally over the cone in front
  • 4) 4 reps must be executed on each side
  • Players have to move quickly and as we can see from the image exhibited, they have make 3 change of directions and then a single slalom run with maximal sprinting speed
  • Rest when players change stage is 45'' seconds
  • Rest between each repetition is 8-10'' seconds
  • We motivate all the players to sprint maximally
  • If we realize that the execution speed/velocity is diminished, we can either terminate the execution process or provide additional rest(20'' seconds) 
  • We expect the players to have minimal and small ground contact time while running
  • Players should not decelerate throughout the whole execution
  • We suggest the players to keep distances in order enhance the execution efficiency of the exercise
