Session 1
Quarter pitch divided into 6 grids
Players are only allowed to play in their allocated grids
Teams can pass from grid to grid but cannot go into another grid
Attackers in grids 1 can shoot if they get into the shooting zone (encourage quick shots at goal)
Defending team can only mark, intercept and put pressure on ball carrier but may not tackle
Coach has ball to throw into game to keep intensity up
Focus
Attacking: move ball forward as quickly as possible; move to open spaces; ball carrier protect ball; shoot as soon as in the zone
Defending: man-to-man marking; deny spaces and passes
COACHING POINTS: ball-carrier has 3 immediate options for passes and can also look to skip a zone to get the ball higher, sooner.

Progression to 6v6
Remove gridlines except for horizonal dividers
Ball carrier may not run with ball once in possession and may also not be tackled
Players should move into spaces to provide passing options
Defending team can only intercept and apply pressure
Progression 2 (possibly for stronger teams)
Ball carrier may travel with ball but only one zone forward and then has to pass or if traveling into shooting zone, must shoot
Players may also tackle but may only tackle their opposite number

Team A passes the ball from grid to grid until it reaches A6 who shoots as soon as she hits the end zone
Team B is passing in the opposite direction and shoots when the ball gets to B6
Focus is moving the ball from zone to zone and players looking up, passing past the B team to their own players and then the quick shot.
First team to reach 5-10 goals (you choose) is the winner!
