Football/Soccer Session (Moderate): FAI Attacking Function (7 Players)

Play out from the back (20 mins)

Build up play from the back through Defensive and Middle thirds.

7 Players, Pitch size 30m x 20m, 35m x 25m. Adjust size to fit players ability.

Red Team - GK / 2 Defenders / 1 CM

White Team - 1CM / 1 CF

GK starts play from a central area with distribution from hands and feet.

White player in the zone acts as a target player for reds and plays with whites when he/she receives a pass.

Game starts with Reds GK, Reds attack Whites, Reds score by passing to target player in the zone. Target player passes to whites so they can attack.

Progression - Allow target player to dribble ball back into play and whites then have three attackers(transition)
