Organisation
2 cones in the middle yards away from each other. There are 2 teams of 5 with 1 player on the middle cone and the other players on the outside cones. Player begins by passing to player on the middle cone, who looks to open up the body and create an angle to receive and pass to the other side. The player always follows the pass and looks to receive and move in both directions.
Key Coaching Points:
Body Shape: Players should look to receive the ball with an open body, facing the goal, allowing them to pass easier.
Create Space: To receive the ball, attackers must look to create space with intelligent movement to create space for themselves off the cone (marking player) when the ball is moving towards them.
Quality of first Touch: To execute the switch pass, players need perform a good first touch with tight control on their back foot to play the ball in one fluid movement using both feet.
Make it into a competition between teams.

Wingbacks remain in channels as spare players to create overloads.
2 halves switch ends so both teams have opportunity to attack wide goals
Continue to work on body angles/pivot player etc.
