Final third General practice

Adaptations (Progressions & Regressions):

Progression: Two defenders can track to create 2v2 situation

Regression: A defender cannot track the pass or run, leaving the attacker free to shoot

Challenges, Conditions or Targets:

"Can we create a third man to break into the wide neutrals?"

"What types of runs can we make to create separation from the defender?"

Conditions:

Team in possession will look to possess with the 2 neutrals. After connecting 8 passes, they unlock the wide neutrals (may come down later on). Two runners can arrive in the box with one defender allowed to track.

If the defending team wins the ball, they will go directly to the mini goals.

3 minute bouts with the two teams alternating after each bout.

Targets:

1 goal = 1 point

1 mini goal = 1 point
