5v2 Rondos Two Grids 7 players each grid 5 players with the ball two without .
Grid Size 20x20
Red Team must keep the ball away from two defending blue team .The four reds on the outside must combine with the red inside the grid to combine play .
5 consecutive passes =1 goal for red team
1st Phase 45 secs each defending two , we will play to time , if the blues intercept Play starts again from red team .

- Dont force pass to link player
Blue team out of possession
- Stay compact
-Make them play around not through
- Press Trigger / Harder on a bad touch or on a poor weighted pass
-Be patient to steal the ball
- Highlight pressure and then cover to inside player
Progressions
1. When blues win the ball and dribble out of the zone they recieve 1 Goal so transition to attack
2. Add in mini goals or Gates for blues to score if they win posession
3. Red team only play one touch on outside .

Posession Transfers - 5v2's in a grid with three 25x25 playing areas .
The coach plays the ball into one area with 5 red players , once they have a first touch two blues can then press the ball and try and retrieve posession .
If the reds achieve 4 quick passes they can transfer to the other grid with the reds awaiting and the next two blues chase posession and the game continues .
Coaching Points
1. Quick Combinations for reds to transfer
2. Be patient to transfer if after 4 pasess
3. Blue team , Press as a pair anticipate a mistake and win the ball
4. Blues be aggressive sprint to press , press at angles cut passing lanes
Progressions ;
-Team that loses possession in the middle
- If there is three consecutive transfers players in the middle must conduct a sprint to the pole left or right
- Take it down to three passes , 1 touch play to transfer
- Middle blues can intercept passes upon transfer

6v6 +2 Possession . 6v6 from the edge of the box to the half way line full width .
The ball always starts with the red team who play with a back four and midfield two vs the Blue team with a midfield 3 and a Front three ( Striker and Two wingers )
The object of the game is for the red team to try and transfer posession to the target man in Zone 2 by building the play from the target man in Zone 1 .
The blue teams object of the game is to disturb the build up by pressing high and then transitioning to build their own attack to pass into the end Zone target man in zone 1 .
Once the ball is inactive or a goal is scored PLay resumes off the target man in Zone 1 .
Coaching points ;
Red Team
- Build up Securely and be patient to transfer the ball
- Open the play when nessecary side to side and identify when to play forward
- Dribble to beat the press sometimes
- Angles to recieve / open body
- Timing of runs
- Quick transition to defend
Blue team
- press high , cut passing lanes , screen Target man
- Angled runs to press , striker arc your run to make centre back play "one way "
- Be Aggressive in approach
- Quick Transitions
- Identify triggers for example weak foot on left side or heavy touches
- Stop Quick tempo
Progressions
1. Ball starts alternate between teams instead of switching roles
2. one red can enter end zone 1 in build up phase
3. overload the build up team to make pressing harder to adjust
4. Target man in the build up phase ( Zone 1 can join in ) to create overload
5. Blues must win the ball back within 10/15 seconds or a forfeit

Organsitation 1-4-3 vs 3-3
Red Goalkeeper Passes to red defender to establish good poessesion in order to score through mini goals in target area .
Blue team must establish a line of pressure to disturb the reds build up phase .
when the blues regain possession they must transition to attack to score .
Focus Points
- Identify Line of pressure
- Be compact relative to the line of defence
-Defend as a team , unit , individual ( Screen , mark , delay cover )
- Establish triggers for pressing the opposition to make play predictable ( Arc runs one side )
- Recovery runs to close gaps between units in transition ( between ball and Goal )
-Ball must be pressed in dangerous areas no ball watching
-Disciplined and patient in executing decisions .
