Session 8

F1:

1. AM checks open from mannequin, receive pass back foot from start player. Foward checks open from mannequin, receives pass from AM and finishes (Follow pass rotation, after finish join start)

2. AM checks open from mannequin, receive pass from start player, give it back. Start player then plays forward, forward sets to AM, AM plays forward in behind to finish.

F2 Rondo:

4v2

Attackers have own boxes

2 defenders play ball and press, one win ball sprint to tag next 2 defenders

Attacking team has 4 balls (timed), after 4 balls have been won teams switch roles

F3 same set up as F1 but different combinations:

1. Start player plays forward, and sprints in behind, forward sets to AM, AM plays through ball to start player who finishes (after shot become forward, forward to AM, AM to start.

2. Start player to AM, AM plays back, start player to forward, forward sets to AM, AM plays a give and go with forward, AM finishes (AM becomes forward, forward, to start, start to AM.

F4 Passing: 4 minutes each one.

1. A passes to B, B passes to C, C passes back to B, B passes to A. At the same time as that ball begins, the other ball starts with C, C passes to D, D passes to A, A passes back to D, D passes to C.

Switch A and B, C and D.

F5 Injury prevention:

Hamstring work (10 reps 3sets)

Lunge variation (10 reps 3sets)

Squat variation (10 reps 3sets)

Push-up variation (10 reps 3sets)

Plank variation (30 sec hold 3sets)

Session 9

F1:

1. RF dribbles at speed, beats mannequin, and crosses to front post, back post, or pulls it back for AM. After finish all 4 players turn and sprint back to their station, then clockwise to the next station over (RF-F-LF-AM-RF.

F2 Rondo:

3v1. All players in own box passing to start and numbered 1-4. Coach calls number, that player runs to opposite box to try win the ball. First defender to win ball wins a point for their team. Both players return to their box and begin passing again.

F3 same as F1 but opposite side and direction.

F4 passing patterns:

1. LB to CB to RB to RF to NHM. All move forward. HM turn, all drop, HM play to RB. RB starts same pattern going other way.

2. LB to CB to LB to NHM to CB to RB to NHM for give and go, to RF. All move forward. RF turns, all drop, RF plays RB. RB starts same pattern going other way.

3. LB to CB to RB to CB to HM (left side) to LF back to HM back to LF. All go forward. LF to RF, RF turns, all drop, RF to RB. RB starts same pattern going other way.

F5 Injury prevention:

Session 10

F1:

1. Over poles forward forward, right out left up, left in right in, left out right up, right in left in, right out left up, right in left in, forward forward.

2.Sprint agility slalom.

3. Sprint towards mannequin to receive ball (server sprints to poles, bounds through poles, sprints through gate, then joins start line).

4. Receive ball across body away from mannequin.

5. Finish on goal (join server line)

F2 Rondo:

Start 4 reds passing, 1 defender press (must start on far end line)

Every 5 complete passes add 1 defender

Count total number of passes until defender wins ball, then switch so blues possess

F3 same as F1 but opposite direction.

F4 Passing:

1. Forward, diagonal, forward, diagonal is one rotation (10 wins)

2. Same but players switch roles (10 wins)

3. Forward, back, diagonal, forward, back, diagonal (10 wins)

4. Same but switch roles (10 wins)

F5 Injury prevention:

Session 11

F1: 30x30

Passing in pairs in square. Each pair is numbered 1-4. Coach calls number, one of pair sprints to either pile of balls, takes quick touch out of feet to cross right footed for partner attacking the goal. After finish both sprint back to square nd begin passing. Next time switch server and finisher. Count goals each team score.

F2 Rondo:

4v2 in 4 pairs

2 defend for 1 min 30 secs, count balls win

Each pair defends once

Last 2 minutes if win ball your out, who lost it is in

F3 same as F1 but left foot crosses.

F4 Passing: 2 mins each one.

Pass follow pass, 2 touch clockwise

Pass follow pass, 2 touch anticlockwise

1 touch clockwise in, back, long, back long

1 touch anticlockwise, in, back, long, back, long

F5 Injury prevention:
