Pass and follow drill - 10 mins
Rationale
Players will need to stand on a cone each, they will ned to be able to receive a pass and pass the ball on to the next person. The ball will be rotated clockwise. 2 balls will be involved in this drill to start off with.

Rondo - 10 mins
Rationale
The set up for this drill is a square. Players will be split into 2 groups of 6. In each square there will be 2 defenders and 4 attackers. The attackers will be around the outside of the square and will need to pass it too each other quickly before the defenders are able to win the ball back.

Development 1
Limit the amount of touches players are allowed to have on the ball.
Development 2
A pass through the opponents legs and the defender has to stay in the centre for another round.

Players will need to remember each others names to ensure they are able to complete a successful pass.

The players will have the added element of pressure from the defender closing the space around them that they have to pass into.
Physical
Defenders will need to maintain their fitness to ensure they are able to keep up with the intensity of the passes to be able to win the ball back.
Tactical
Players will need to use their decision making skills to be able to pass successfully.
Technical
Players will need to focus on the mechanics of passing in order to complete a successful pass with their team mate.

Rondo small sided game - 10 mins
Rationale
12 Cones will be placed in a square around 3 goals in the middle. Every player will stand next to a cone with 6 players wearing bibs and the other 6 not wearing bibs. Players will pass the ball to each other while standing next to their cones. When I shout 'PLAY' players will need to run into the middle of the pitch and in their teams will need to score in the mini goals.
