when player (L) starts moving towards player (W) that will trigger player (C2) to move 3-4 yards to there left which will give player (C2) advantage of covering player (L).
(C1) will move to there left 3-4 yards which will put them inbetween the goal post and penalty spot,
this will give the player (C1) a chance if a ball is chipped over there head or if the ball is passed from player (W) into player (F) feet, he can get to player (F) and put pressure on player (F) to make a decision what to do with the ball.
player(R) will move across 3-4 yards into a position between the back post and the penalty spot
this will give cover to (C1) who will be doing two jobs of covering (C2) and if the ball is passed intop player (F).
when player (L) is running to player (W) player (L) has to slow down when getting to player (W) and make that player make a decision.it all depends on the player (L) positioning when they are running towards player (W).
does player (L) make player (W) go on the outside and have a one on one to try and stop the cross or does player (L) make player (W) run inside towards the goal into a packed area.
in this position i would want my player (L) to make player (W) go on the outside and run into the corner.
this would happen on the other side with players (W,R) working to game tempo.

Player (M) plays the ball into player (W).
When the ball is passed to player (W), player (L) will go and press player (W)
This will happen for both sides if the ball is played out to player (W) player (R)
would press when the ball is passed.
