To transition quickly from BPO > BP one possession is won in the defensive third of the pitch.
To then identify times to make forward movements and find the passes that stretch the opposition in the middle 3rd to attacking 3rd.

Set Up
Size: 30ydx25yd
Timing: 15 minutes (total) – 3x4’+1’ Dynamic Stretching
Instructions:
Scoring Method: Scoring a goal. (Final Progression, 8x chances each)
Starts/Restarts: #1 ‘Magic Man’
Progressions: #1 - Pattern is random utilising all players, can we hit wide players as soon as possible, #2 - 1 team will build up from the 'Magic Man'/Goalkeeper, when they hit the oppositions 'magic man', then there will be a transition moment where the blues are required to build up quickly to score a goal.
Team in BP is to maintain possession and try and score a goal, if team in BPO win the ball they are to transition quickly from BPO > BP to score as quickly as possible

Team Task/Challenge: In transition moving the ball forwards and exploiting spaces in wide areas as quickly as possible with forward movement and forward passing.
#9/7: Try to receive the ball inbetween lines to either face forward or bring supporting players into thegame.
#9/7: Try and get in behind theback 4 to either cross or score.
#10/8: Try and support players whoaren't facing forwards to play forwards.
#10/8: Identify times to run inbehind the next line to stretch the back 4.
#10/8: Try to find forward passesand move forward to support these passes.
#10/8: Try to make forward runs toget into goal scoring positions.
#2/5: Try and get as high and wideas early possible to exploit space in wide areas and get crosses into the box.
#2/5: Try to arrive in the box toget on the end of crosses if you are the far-side wing back.

Instructions:

Rules/ Explanation: Ball starts from the either end indicated by the #1. Blues will play through and hit the magic man on the other end, simultaneously with the reds. When the ball hits the 'magic man' he plays to the opposite team that he received it from. The idea is that the teams need to transition quickly from BPO-BP.
