Organisation
- 2 x 25x30 areas
- 4v3 in each area in favour of reds
Tasks
- Reds in top zone will play into blues to start but must stay in zone until ball is touched by blue
- Reds in top zone will then recover to create a 4v3
Coaching points
- Speed of recovery
- Closest man address ball to slow play
- Fill gaps if someone steps out
Progression
- Add halfway line where reds in top zone can't recover until halfway line is crossed

Organisation
- Back 4, 6 in blue
- SOD and 10 in blue starting behind halfway
- Front 3, 10 and 8 in red
Rules
- 10/8 in red starts with ball and plays 1-2s with blue behind halfway
- 10/8 can turn and go at his discretion to counter
- SOD and 10 in blue can then recover(AFTER RED TURNS WITH BALL)
Progression
- Get fullback to start beyond halfway so he has to recover
Coaching points
- Speed of recovery
- Closest man to address ball and slow them down while others recover
- Look to fill gaps and regain shape
- Don't be fixed on the ball
