Block 1 - Who deals with the oppositions full backs based on their starting position?
Balls will start from GK:
Solutions
Initially the Reds will allow the blues to have the ball. Once the ball comes into the first reference point (Blue marker/first floodlight) through their LBs/RBs this will activate the press.
What if the opposition avoids the press and switches play?

Block 2 - How do you deal with 3v3 in the back if the wingbacks get caught high?
The ball will start with the RED LWB/RWB who will be attacking the goal and try to score with 15 seconds.
Once the Blues retrieve possession, they will try to play through or over to the front 3 to create a 3v3.
What ifs: Are the Red defenders good enough to go 1v1 with their front 3?
If not, when attacking one of the LWB/RWB will need to stay back and tuck round to create a 4v3 to help prevent the counter from being successful.
What if they are playing with a narrow 3?
If they are playing with a narrow 3- This may create an opportunity for the blue midfield runs to do a diagonal run.
Solution- The Red CDM must follow the run, and the defensive and midfield unit must tuck over.
If the front three, changes and rotate they must be passed on efficiently. Checking on my goalkeeper to rely the messages.
If they play wide- Can my LCB or RCB just go halfway and not go tight and my furtherest away centre back to tuck in.

Block 3 - How do deal with the oppositions no.9 if he drops deep to become a false 9 creating a midfield diamond?
Balls will start from Blue RCB/LCB.
Solution
If the blue number 9 drops deep, to create a midfield diamond then the RED CB must follow the striker. Depending what side the ball the is. The opposite Side LWB/RWB must tuck in slightly just in case it becomes a 2v2 in the back. The (L)/ (R) CDM may have to go half and half to screen the ball from going into the no.9s feet.
Reasoning: I do not want the False 9 to be the breakdown of our original press.

Block 4- How do deal with the 3 opposing challenges
Balls will start from the three various positions.
Players will have to orchestrate and deal with the set up problems with the solutions worked on.
The block will challenge the learning experience of the players, along with checking for understanding through their decision making/promoting deeper learning.
