Feelings: This session was perfect for the team I was coaching as in recent games the main problem costing the result was the teams inability to finish and score goals so I was motivated to deliver a successful session and make sure all of the players took on board the coaching points to give the side a good chance of achieving winning results in the coming weeks.
Evaluation: The overall experience was good. The players were lively and eager but also listened intently to instructions and took on board information given to them by myself. The stronger players responded well to the individual challenges i set them and even the weaker players stepped up and showed good signs of improvement and understanding throughout the session. If I was to make an improvement it would be to make sure we have a larger number of footballs to allow the session to run a little bit more smoothly
Conclusion: Overall very pleased with the session and recieved positive feedback off the players and other coaches but as mentioned before the one area for improvement would be to make sure we have access to a larger amount of footballs with all shooting/finishing drills to allow for smoother running of the session and more repetitions for the players.
