Line Ball 1v1 (15 mins)

1v1 contest

Ball delivered from 1 player to another across court. Once a first touch is made by the receiving player the player enters the court and becomes a defender. Attacker tries to beat defender and stop ball on line. If defender wins the ball they can attack the opposite line to score.

First touch directional for player receiving the ball

Control of ball and change of pace when necessary.

1v1 ball protection (15 mins)

1v1 Ball Protection

In a square 10 by 10

Players stand back to back in middle with ball resting in the air between them.

There is a countdown 3,2,1, Go by one of the players.

Reaction time is important to gain possession of the ball.

Once the ball is down and in play the player in possession must touch 2 cones with the ball to score a point.

If the ball goes out of the square the game resets in the middle with the same process.

Direct Overload mini game (15 mins)

End to end overload game.

Ball starts with one player dribbling across pitch and shooting at mini goal.

Once goal has been scored or ball out of play 1 player enters the pitch so the game is a 1v1.

Again once goal is scored or ball out of pitch the attack starts at the other end with a 2v1 then so on until all players are on the pitch.
