3 Zone game- very functional, 4-4-2 diamond into a 3-5-2

-3 Zones, width of the 18 and 20 yards in length for end zones, 25 yards in length for middle zone

-Attacking team tries to build out of their defensive third and find a midfielder (4v4 in the middle zone).

-Once they connect, an outside back can join to create a 5v4 in the middle zone.

-Must make sure to provide width, and have 2 CM's high to break a line.

-Weakside CM can look to get higher to break a line as well, and then work down to receive when the 6 receives it.

-From the middle zone, the ball must be passed into the final zone and a 4v4 can be created.
