Organization: Players stand 20 yards apart from each other, facing the middle. Each player has a ball.
Instructions: Players dribble towards each other. When they meet in the middle, they have to do a skill move to get past the player (e.g. rake right foot, scissor then outside, etc.)
Player dribbling towards goal must score after passing player in the middle.
Player dribbling away from goal must attack the space with pace after passing player in the middle
Coaching Points:

Progressions:
One player has ball, other is playing defense. Go full pressure

Organization:
2 goals places 20 yards from each other. Starting cone placed 15-20 yards ahead from midway point.
One defender to start, line of players, each with a ball, at cone.
Instructions:
Players will play 1v1 direct to goal. After offense scores, misses, or is dispossessed, they have to transition straight into defense for next player. Player who just got done with defense must track first ball down, then go join offense line.
Coaching Points:
Attack the open space to goal
Be creative
Head up
Quick transition (as soon as first play is over, next player should be going right away)
Defense:
forcing one way
closing space down at an angle
right time to step and take ball
Progressions:
Must do one skill move before scoring
If enough players, go to 2v2 with same principles
2v2:
Work on the types of runs players can make (overlap, wide, support)

Organization:
15x30 field. Goal on each end. 3 players on each team to play 3v3
Instructions:
Break them into teams of 3 and let them play.
Keep them in triangle shapes, no keepers.
Rules are as follows:
No corners
Everything is a goal kick or a kick in (no throw-ins)
PLAY 2-Touch to encourage ball movement and player movement
If movement is satisfactory, move to no restrictions
Coaching Points:
Focus on shape of team. On offense players should be spread out and stretching field open. Defense we pinch in
Progressions:
2 touch
Give each player a partner on the other team, you can only defend your partner now.

Foundation Part 1 Individual Possession Player atributes with stages of pressure (15 mins)
Organization:
20x30 grid set up 2 depending on numbers
12 - 16 players per grid
Instructions:
Part 1
-Players will be split the group into 3 teams with different pinnie
colors, each player will have a ball and complete a series of ball
mastery moves combined with player charachterristics from the
below list of players
-when coach calls out a color that team must perform the atributes
at top speed for 20 seconds
Part 2
-coach will call out pinnie color the players color was called out will
become defenders leaving their ball and trying to steal the ball of
others and transition to score in one of the pug goals for 1 point.
-the players with the balls start with 3 points each round and must
tryto use the player characteristics to maintain individual
possession till the round is over to gain 3 points everytime they have their ball taken awaytheyloose one of there points
-each round will be 1 minute long
* MESSI/LLOYD: Head up looking to get into the gaps using small, quick touches with the Pinky Toe (outside of the foot).
*POGBA/HORAN: Head up to recognize when there's no gaps/space, then change of direction (12 o'clock to 6 o'clock), ball comes out
of your feet, and then head and eyes up getting into the new space.(Foundation 3 variation, pass master finding space to create
penetrating passes also maintaining team ballance always being an outlet of support)
*RONALDO/MORGAN: Head up to see when there's a lot of space in front of you, then big touch to accelerate and get your head/eyes
up and attack the space.
*INIESTA/PUGH : Head up to recognise small tight spaces ,using the inside/outside surfaces of the foot to unbalance defenders to
make the space big enough to penetrate
*NEYMAR/HEATH using multiple surfaces to manipulate the ball unbalance defenders using a moves to create space for end product
*SUAREZ/MARTA:Head up to observe target, touch into space to create shooting room, strike with laces or finish with multiple surface,
follow up for rebound finish
