- Poles set out in a plus shape (+) 12 yards apart.
- Multiple players at each pole.
- Two balls going at the same time (only one shown in diagram).
Coaching Points:
- Quality of the pass (weight, timing, accuracy).
- Movement off the ball – check away from ‘defender’ to make run behind or in front.
- Speed/tempo of play; two touch max, one touch encouraged.
- Verbal and nonverbal communication (what foot do you want the ball? Pass to feet or in front?).
Progression:
- Instead of pass 6, a goal can be added to include a shot.

- Nine poles set out in three lines evenly spaced about 12 yards apart.
- Multiple players at each pole.
- Two balls going at the same time (only one shown in diagram).
- Two groups go at the same time, then two additional groups go from the opposite direction (i.e. north to south then east to west).
