Players are split into two groups. Place a large gate approximately 20 yards away from the goal, place a smaller gate 10/15 yards behind the big gate. Have players stand behind small gates dribble to large gate as soon as they get to large gate, shoot. Then go to oppostie line for a continual rotation.
Coaching points:
- Shoot with laces, ankle locked. Far post low.
- Place non-kicking foot beside ball.
- Get over the ball (knee, chest, head)
- Drive through the back of the ball.
- Follow through.
- Get ball out of feet with shooting.
- Always aim for side netting.

Pass into middle player who plays the ball back to feet. 1v1 between the attacker and defender w/ passive defending at first

Set up one field about 25 x 30 and separate the kids into two teams. Each team sets up at one end of the field in two lines (off the field). Team A plays a ball in to team B and the first two players from each line play making a 2v2 game to large goals with goalkeepers. Any time a goal is scored, the ball goes out of bounds, or the game lasts longer than 30 seconds the players on the field go off to the outside and new players begin a new game. The transition should be quick. After 10-12 games, make sure you switch so that both teams receive the ball to start.
