L/R Passing Warm Up (10 mins)

The player recieves the ball though the middle gate (#1). The player then touches the ball to the left (#3) or right (#2) before playing the ball with the outside foot to the opposite player through the center gate.

Long Ball Technique (10 mins)

Over a set distance players loft the ball to one another while the coach(es) ensure correct technique and ball elevation and accuracy.

L/R Long Balls (20 mins)

Coach passes the ball to the waiting GK (#1). The GK then pushes the ball to the left or right, when pushing the ball right (#2) the player must use the right foot. Similarly when moving left (#3), the player must use the left foot.

This can be progressed by moving the goal to the wings, if the team plays wide balls from clearences.

The angle of the service fromt the coach can also be varied to resemble a passback from a LB/RB to be taken first time or after a sideways touch.
