9v6 SINGLE LOCK DOWN (25 mins)

This is a game that can be played in order to work on locking down one side of the pitch.

SET UP: Half a pitch. Possession team of 8 or 9 (including the GK) 6 Defensive Players organized structurally on one side of the pitch.

OBJECTIVE; To challenge the team in possession to one side of the pitch. There are pop up nets to act as outlet passes. Play starts at the GK and the team in possession is looking to build and play the ball into one of the pop up nets for a point. If the pressing team wins possession, t they can transition and attempt to score on the big net for 2 points.

PROGRESSIONS & CONSTRAINTS: Play on the other side of the pitch. Rotate players to give everyone a chance at the high press.

FOCUS: Start all plays from the GK.
