Possession game (15 mins)

THE SESSION:

- Players can score in either of the goals

- One player from each team must remain on one side if the ball is on the other

- Encourage players to switch the ball when one goal is being defended

Progression

- Pass 3 times before scoring.

- Vision: Score or switch?

- Who is in the best position to receive the ball

THESESSION:
Note, for simplicity, positions will be
numbered as follows: RB = #2, Mid = #8,
Wing = #7, Striker = #9
- Four cone set up in the attacking half
- (2) passes to (8) w ho checks aw ays from
cone
- As (8) receives ball, he turns to look at (7)
w ho makes a decoy run aw ay from cone
(tow ards goal)
- (8) plays ball back to (2)
- (7) checks back and recieves pass from (2),
then plays a pass to (8)
- (8) plays a one touch pass to hit (7) on stride
as he heads to goal
- (9) and (8) make a run tow ards goal as (7)
carries ball dow n the flank
- (7) crosses ball into (9) or (8) w ho attempts
to finish on goal

-A pass to D play 2v1

-As soon as ball out or score C pass the ball to E
