Game 1 - Attacking Principles

Set Up: 3 channels vertically

Rules: Possession team has to pass the ball in all 3 channels before scoring.


Game 2 - Defensive Principles

Set Up: Rectangle which is narrow and long in middle of pitch.

Rules: 

Attacking team has to pass the ball into the rectangle centrally, before being able to score.

If you are already in front of the rectangle when you win it you can go and score as a reward for pressing high.

Game 3 - Pos Trans Principles

Set Up: Normal SSG

Rules: If you lose the ball, you and your whole team have to do 1 push up beofre carrying on defending. 


Game 4 - Neg Trans Principles

Set Up: Normal SSG

Rules: If you win the ball, and can keep it for 6 seconds or more you get a goal.


All games have forfeits for losing team. 5 min games.

Game:

  • For a team to score, all the attacking players need to be in the attacking end zone.
  • No tackling in middle zone.
  • Game restarts from coach at any moment for manufactured transitions


We will play this game in 4 x sets. 4/5/6 and 7 minutes with 90 seconds rest.
